Our goal is to help businesses, all around the world to adopt and utilise open banking. We want Nordigen to enable greater financial transparency and financial inclusion via open banking.

Who are we

Nordigen is the brainchild of co-founders Roberts and Rolands, who were intent on bringing innovation to the world of finance in 2016. Years later, Nordigen is democratising access to financial data with Europe’s first free PSD2 data API and a range of data enrichment products.

Based in Latvia, we work with SMEs all around the world within lending, accounting, PFM, real estate and more.

Timeline
April 2016

On 6th of April, 2016 Nordigen Solutions, Ltd. is officially founded. The same month Nordigen obtains its first institutional investor: 50k euros from Imprimatur Capital LV.

May 2016

Nordigen wins the Rietumu Bank Fintech Challenge.

October 2016

Nordigen wins the Rietumu Bank Fintech Challenge.

July 2017

Change Ventures invests 150k euros.

August 2017

The ping pong table is purchased.

September 2018

Seedcamp and Inventure invest 700k euros.

October 2019

Nordigen Dashboard launch.

December 2020

Nordigen launches free PSD2 data API for Europe and moves into it’s current office on Gertrudes 44a.

May 2021

Nordigen raises 2.1 million dollars in a funding round with a group of investors, including Black Pearl Capital.

October 2021

Nordigen reaches 50 employees, across 7 different nationalities, located throughout Europe.
