Free access to EuropeanPSD2data has gone live in Finland. The Nordigen's Account Information product is a free API that connects to major European banks and provides regulated, consented access to user banking information. In Finland, Nordigen provides regulated access to Nordea, OP Bank and other popular banks.

Nordigen is a direct challenger to incumbent open banking platforms such as Tink, Plaid and Truelayer, which have been focusing their efforts on the largest European markets - the UK, Germany, France and Spain. Nordigen provides a world-class open banking solution for the Finnish fintech ecosystem. The company is popularising the use of regulated APIs, as opposed to legacy screen scraping technologies, which are still commonly used across Northern Europe.

“It's time Finnish fintechs had access to open banking that doesn't cost a fortune. We're excited to bring free open banking connectivity to the market.”

Rolands Mesters, CEO and co-founder of Nordigen.
